After
completing the 4 Round International World Midget
Tests in New Zealand, USA's Danny Stratton was
heading home with a $10,000 to win 50 Lap Feature
glory credited to his name.
Running the NZ49,
Danny crossed the line ahead of US team mate Scott
Hatton and New Zealand's Steven Currie.
But it seems, the
racing isn't over yet! Plans have changed for Danny
Stratton!
In a last minute
decision, Stratton is now heading to Sydney to
compete in Rd 4 of the Speedcar Super Series this
Saturday night at Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway
and then a week later, race the prestigious 2 night
65th Australian Speedcar Championship (10 & 11 Feb).
With Stratton's visa only approved today, Sydney
Speedcar Star and last seasons Bikebiz Track
Champion, Michael Pope has elected to step out of
the next two events and offered Danny the seat in
the Advantage Tyres Stealth/Ed Pink.

Not only does the
Advantage Tyres team have 2 Speedcars nominated,
Danny Stratton driving the #18 and local racer
Nathan Smee behind the #81, the Tyre Professionals
are delivering Speedcar Racing to family homes
across Australia by sponsoring TV coverage on
Foxtel's Chequered Flag program. Record numbers are
expected at this round, with all teams on show for
the national telecast.
Danny
Stratton is a Regular front runner at Angell Park
Speedway racing BMARA sanctioned events. 5 feature
wins from 22 at BMARA shows last season, Stratton
finished a solid second in the overall points tally
behind Scott Hatton. 4th in the Belleville Nationals
and winner of the USAC 4-Crown Nationals at Eldora,
Stratton in the #18 is one to keep your eyes on!
