The masters of Australian Midget Racing slide into Speedway City SA this Saturday Night for the Grand Finale of the 6 Round travelling Speedcar Super Series.

SSS teams and drivers have travelled from across Australia and the Tasman showing their dedication and sportsmanship within the Speedcar Ranks. There have been thrills, spills, cheers, tears and squeals of pure grown-men joy as the drivers display close on-your-feet racing!

The final round won't be any different! The heat has been turned on in the Championship Points Ladder. Michael Pickens heads into Round 6 with the SSS lead on 4325 points, ahead of Mark Brown in second with 3760. Caught in the Seamount sandwich, Browndog will be driving for first place but will need to protect his Adila Aggressor's tail from third placed runner; Adam Clarke on 3710.

It doesn't end with our top 3. The battle is strong across the board. Dene McAllan jumped into fourth ahead of Grant Draney at Round 4, followed by Ben Wiese, Stevie Walsh, Troy Jordan, Matt Young and Tarin Edge. With the intense racing at Speedcar Super Series rounds, everything could change after Saturday Night with only 540 points the difference between fourth and tenth place!  

With the entire pack pushing forward to rightfully claim their spot in the Speedcar History books - the final round of the 05/06 Speedcar Super Series is set entice all of South Australia!

Each round has a generous prize pool paying down to 10th in the B Main, $100 sponsored by National Speedway Illustrated for the top Time Trial qualifier, $200 for the Pole Shuffle winner sponsored by Rod Bowen’s Prestige Smash Repairs, a US $150 voucher from M & W Aluminium for the 10th runner home in the A Main and a $100 bonus if the A Main winner uses four American Racer tyres to cross the line; there is plenty on offer for our Speedcar stars.

* All Speedcars must be in the pits by 4.45pm sharp.
* Cars in the pit area by 4.45pm to receive 10 qualifying points.
* Compulsory drivers briefing at 5.00pm.
* All drivers in race suits receive 10 qualifying points.
* Cars must be on the track for engine starts and wheel packing at 5.30pm sharp.
* All cars on the Track by 5.30pm to receive 10 qualifying points.

TYRE RULE:

The Right Rear tire will be a SD35 but we will arrange to carry BRANDED SD38 compound tires for tracks that may use up tires.

The Left Rear will be an American Racer but will not require branding.

BREKA RULE:

Every competitor at each racetrack will be required to display the logo of major sponsor, Breka.
Breka will supply stickers. This is to be placed above the number on the front of bonnet (size is approx: 12” x 2.5”)
