While
New Zealand’s Michael Pickens shines in the limelight of
becoming the 05/06 Speedcar Super Series Champion in one
of the toughest competitions seen racing across
Australia; its Sydney’s own Mark Brown who has taken
home the brand new Breka Chassis kit from SSS major
sponsor Breka of New Zealand!
The Seamount Team duo of Pickens and Australian Adam
Clarke took home first and second in the SSS
championship after a spectacular front row battle in the
round six decider at Speedway City, Adelaide. Yet Breka
Chassis and Seamount Team owners Brett and Karen Morris
have handed over the immaculate new chassis kit to the
3rd running Mark Brown.
“I really have to thank Brett (Morris) from Breka for
supporting the series. The Breka chassis’ are great and
while it’s not the one we choose to run, their results
are a testament to the quality work done by Brett, Tim
(Clark) and the team” said an appreciative Brown who has
had plenty of praise for his major on-track rivals
throughout the series.
Breka was one of the first sponsors to announce support
for the 05/06 Speedcar Super Series, in addition to
funding the likes of Pickens, Clarke and American Tony
Elliott on his down under tour with the Seamount Team.
Breka is a leading parts supplier and race car
fabricator to open wheel racers across New Zealand,
developing and building race car chassis, roll cages and
selected race car components for its local and
international clients.
The Speedcar Super Series thanks Breka for their
continued support and sends congratulations to Michael,
Adam and Mark on their achievements throughout the
series.
