Get ready to rumble
Mildura as this Saturday night the national Speedcar
Super Series screams into town for round two of the
finest open wheel racing in Australia!
Heading the campaign are the top three from the opening
round in Murray Bridge held a fortnight ago; the BOC
Gases Bandit Troy Jenkins, the Rondalee Rocket Mark
Brown and South Australian Cool Hand Luke Dillon! After
a spectacular three way wheel to wheel battle for the
lead over the last ten laps of the 30 lap A Main, this
trio are fighting fit to return to victory lane again
this weekend.
Yet no-one can rule out the other Speedcar superstars
from across the country including West Aussie’s ‘Big
Rev’ Neville Lance and young-gun Dene McAllan; Sydney’s
Brett Morris, ‘Matt Young, Nathan Smee; or Victorian’s
Harley Bishop and Peter Ghent Jnr in his immaculate new
V3 ride, to name but a few of the challengers out for
the win!

“So many fans saw what
the SSS is made of at Murray Bridge” said an ecstatic
series Director Ken Jenkins in lead up to round two.
“The race not only between the top three but the guys
running behind them was the finest Speedway action I’ve
seen; and not one person can refute that statement who
saw it the other night”.
Will the change of track mean other racers hit the
podium this round?
“To be honest I just couldn’t tell you” says Jenkins
adamantly when the question was raised. “The number of
draw card names on this series will make picking a
winner a hard task. Look at some of the names in the
line-up… Bourke, Brown, Smee, Bishop, Cooper, Lance,
Dillon, Jenkins, Morris, Wiese, McAllan, Young, Rinkin,
Abson… I know how good these guys are and even I’m
having trouble picking the winner of the $2,000 prize”.
