As the Speedcar Super
Series season opener approaches, series Director Ken
Jenkins is excited!
“This is by far the best group of drivers we’ve had join
up for the SSS, all are extremely keen to get back out
on the track for all rounds of the series; the depth of
talent is truly outstanding,” said Ken from the SSS head
office today.
“We have drivers who have been on the SSS tour before
and other exceptional racers who have decided to join up
for the first time this year. This is going to be an
extraordinary season that promises first-class racing
from the entire group.”
“One rookie Speedcar racer from WA has joined to learn
from the best, and I’m sure he will with the talent he’s
up against.”
“To be honest, looking at this list of contracted
drivers in front of me, I feel it’s near impossible for
anyone other than a contracted driver to win a round of
the series – the strength of the field is that good”.
All States will be represented in the 07-08 Speedcar
Super Series, as drivers from VSDA, QSRA, WASDA, SASA
and SANSW have all committed to the upcoming series.
“These guys are extremely competitive at their home
tracks so this will be superb racing when they all come
together,” said an excited Ken “all states have a rep;
actually not one; each state has a minimum of two
drivers each! This is simply sensational!”
