With just over a week till the opening round of the Speedcar Super Series, Director Ken Jenkins is pleased to announce Opposite Lock 4WD & Vehicle Accessories has joined the 2008-2009 series!

Established over 25 years ago, Opposite Lock is an Australia-wide chain of 4WD specialist accessory stores owned and operated by genuine 4WD enthusiasts. Combining bulk buying power with nationwide warranty and support, Opposite Lock offers a comprehensive range of accessories and equipment to suit all popular 4x4s.

In addition to the overall championship, Opposite Lock has joined the SSS as naming right sponsor to the new award: SSS Hard Charger!

Calculated from start and finishing positions of the contracted drivers starting the A main, a tally board will be generated for the SSS biggest movers! For example, driver A starts from position 20 in the feature and finishes in 1st, he will secure 19 points towards this Opposite Lock championship.

After all six rounds the points will be determined, with the overall Opposite Lock SSS Hard Charger receiving a prize from this generous sponsor!

"Speedcar racing has some big movers and shakers and the Super Series is no exception," said Jenkins "all of our drivers have the skills to move forward in races, so this is a great prize for those who drive well to move forward over the entire championship."

In the case of equal points at the end of all six rounds, a decision will be made for the overall winner by the SSS officials, Chief & Assistant Chief Stewards, and an Opposite Lock representative after the grand finale at Speedway City. This final outcome will be determined from the drivers consistency across all race meetings.
