Get trackside; the Speedcar Super Series is heading back to Queensland for round two of the six round travelling series! With 22 drivers signed up to compete at every show, this Saturday night at Charlton Raceway is set for another dose of spectacular Speedcar action!

Leading the charge in the Rinkin Motorsport N69 is Mark Brown, with a 197 point lead over Queensland's Grant Draney in second, and New South Welshman Mark Cooper in third for the overall SSS championship.

“We have the top guys racing from around the country, Brown was the number one driver last year and Nathan Smee was easily the next one on that list," said Ken Jenkins "with guys like these racing to win along with our 20 other drivers, it's going to be another close one at Charlton!"

Indeed will the interstate challengers from throughout New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and West Australia be able to fight their way past the local Queensland hard-chargers?

"Queenslanders have come out in force this season and it was fantastic to see Grant on the podium at the BIS opening round," said SSS officials "but the enthusiasm award has to go to the South Australian's who prove they are keen to compete by sending regular sms messages and email updates counting down the number of sleeps till they take to the race track!"

COMPETITOR INFO:

Nomination monies (non-contracted driver) must be paid prior to drivers participating in the Time Trial draw or taking the race car onto the track. All drivers must attend the compulsory drivers briefing. Cars must be on the track for engine starts and wheel packing no later than 5.30pm. Speedcars will hot lap as per group allocated at drivers briefing, no swapping hot lap groups.
