In the first year of formation, Nathan Smee Racing have taken the Australian Speedcar ranks by storm; stamping their victorious name on three Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway feature wins, eight top five finishes, two rear of field sprints to the finish to claim sixth and two colossal aerobatic wrecks, which rivaled the RAAF’s best!

Awarded joint holder of the Jeff Freeman Award (most feature wins in one season) and claiming third in the NSW Gold Cup Championship; 2007-2008 will see the entire team and sponsors return for a full scale assault on the midget scene!

With finishing touches made to the North West Trucks NSR transporter, the racing team are prepared to hit the road this season travelling up and down the east coast and other destinations around Australia.

“If it all goes to plan we’ll be racing the major shows this year, including the Australian Championships at Kwinana,” Nathan stated earlier.

“Unfortunately we’ll miss one round of the series, so I haven’t committed to it like the past two years, but we should be at the other meetings to collect some decent prize money.”

“I really need to thank everyone who supports us, they have all come back on board this year, so I hope to get the results we’re after.”

As sponsors and supporters rally behind him, the team has increased in size over the off season with the Nathan Smee Racing outfit purchasing a brand new Spike chassis direct from the US supplier.

Now with two complete Speedcars held under the NSR banner, the team are the ones to watch with their professional attitude and relaxed approach.
