NSR PR
As work continues in the NSR
workshop, two hours south of Sydney another race team is busily
preparing their racecar in anticipation for one of the most
important Speedcar races on this seasons schedule; the Magic Man
34 tribute race.
Passed by NSWSA Speedcars Australia delegates, the Spike/Barry
Graham Hawk #14 will once again take to the clay way; this time
with Nathan Smee behind the wheel. With his own race seat fitted
to the Steven Graham machine, Nathan is ready to compete on
October 27.

Flying in for the practice session
prior to the race meeting, it will be the third time Nathan
takes to Perth’s Motorplex,
“I’m really happy to race the 34 laps as tribute to Michael
Figliomeni. He adapted quickly to any track and was one of
Australia’s greatest talents” said Nathan when confirming his
entry.
“It will be my first race of the season, and I like racing at
Kwinana, so I’m looking forward to getting back behind the
wheel.”
There is a long association between the Graham and Smee families
with both Fathers Barry and Gordon legends in the sport. With
this early connection, Nathan was first offered driving laps in
the initial stages of the driving school and jumped at the
chance at 15 years of age.
Having spent a number of years since racing side by side in
Australia & America, Steven has now offered his immaculate ride
to Nathan for the Figs Tribute race.
“I would really like to thank Steven for offering his midget to
race, along with everyone who helps us on the night,” said
Nathan
“There are a few of us are flying across so hopefully we can put
on a good show”.
Nathan Smee Racing flights are booked; get to Kwinana on October
27 and support the Richard Petty Driving Experience #14.
